EAST COAST MEET 11/18/00
Here are a few pics from the East Coast Meet
on 11/18/00 at the University of Maryland Campus. About 35 GP's from 6 States turned out for the event which was awesome! A fun (frozen) time was had by all.

PONTIAC EXCITEMENT 400
May 5th, 2001 a group of 13 Grand Prix's from the VA, OH and MACGP clubs were guests of Pontiac at the Pontiac Excitement 400.  We had access to the Pontiac Hospitality area which provided food, drink and shelter from the heat.  We were visited by all the Pontiac drivers and had a great question and answer session.  We were able to tour the pits and get our picture taken as a group in the Interstate Batteries pit just hours before race time.  The best part was the pre-race parade laps in front of a packed house.  As we each crossed the start/finish line, they announced who we were and where we were from.  All this was culimated by a great race won by a Pontiac, driven by Tony Stewart!
For this unique opportunity, our "Thanks" go out to Marc Harbison and his wife Cheri for putting this together and their hard work on race day!  Without them this would not have happened.
A perfect day with 13+  Grand Prix's from our MACGP group.
